They Walk as The Wise

Memories are so sweet,                                                          
Of Christian friends we meet
When we in a circle, bond 
In God’s family of Love.


Al and Ruth are embodied like a dove, gentle and kind 
Precious are they to family and friends
As they walk among the wise
With Holy Ghost insight to lend


Spending time day by day 
Helping others along the way
A number among many
That one can about them say


They are full of wisdom
Walking among the wise
Rejoicing with their children 
And grandchildren now grace their lives


A precious blessing indeed
For a couple endearingly meek
Al and Ruth for fifty years 
Together they have been 


No more words are needed
And many words go unheeded
But Al and Ruth for sure
Have in truth fulfilled their years


And not without tears 
No doubt along the way, even fears
But faith of the two have overcome.  
A lifetime of endurance speaks for itself.
